I've been taking japanese for a little over a year and a half now, and I must say that these little lessons you've got here are a very good base for learning the language. They only just barely scratch the surface, of course, but they're a good start on the basics. :)

so, if you are answering a question as to what something is, you would say:

OR
~~tte iimasu
is that correct? Thank you, again. I'm not good at distinguishing a "tsu" from a pause...and also exactly what the "/" means... :meow::liquisoft:
